RB Street Sweeping Parking Tickets - 09/21/2020
I hope this email finds you well. Can you believe we’ve been “safer at home” for 6 months?
Good news: LA County’s and California’s Case Counts are trending lower. My last newsletter in July 4th – case counts were rising…
Thank you for your efforts. We need to stay focused, we can do this!
Please remember that the “Safer At Home” order is still in place. It’s our best tool for combating the spread of this virus. Continue to socially distance, wash your hands and wear a mask when visiting a store and carry one with you wherever you go. These requests have not changed, keep up your efforts.

For Around Redondo, I’m just providing counts for the South Bay Cities.

COVID-19 Reimbursement Grant - Aviation & Artesia Blvd.
The Redondo Beach City Council has allocated $20,000 of its CARES Act funding for grants to the small businesses and property owners along the Artesia/Aviation Commercial Corridor. These grants will reimburse necessary expenditures incurred due to the COVID-19 public health emergency in an amount not to exceed $2,500.
Fully completed applications emailed to FinanceMail@redondo.org will be considered on a “first-come, first-served” basis in the event the total amount of reimbursement requests exceeds $20,000.

Reimbursement Grant Program Flyer
All 122 Redondo Businesses along Artesia Blvd and Aviation Blvd received the following flyer announcing the program and encouraging businesses to get their documents put together. Over 30 businesses have responded thus far and the program will most likely be expanded to all businesses in Redondo Beach.
Please note the August 14th deadline was extended as the program was readied for application processing and contracts are prepared. No current deadline has been identified.
